What is AAHA Accreditation?
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits veterinary hospitals across the United States and Canada. To earn accreditation, practices are rigorously evaluated against more than 900 standards of care, covering areas such as patient treatment, pain management, anesthesia procedures, and thorough medical recordkeeping.
Why It Matters for Your Pet
Choosing an AAHA-accredited hospital means selecting a practice that has voluntarily committed to the highest standards in veterinary medicine. Our accreditation isn’t a one-time achievement — it’s maintained through continuous evaluations to ensure we consistently meet and exceed those standards.
- More than 900 standards covering every aspect of veterinary care
- Routine on-site evaluations by AAHA veterinary experts
- Ongoing commitment to continuing education for all team members
- Achieved by fewer than 15% of veterinary practices in the United States
