Meet Dr. Varujan Belekdanian
Associate Veterinarian & Co-OwnerDr. Varujan Belekdanian, D.V.M, is a 2023 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He attended the University of Delaware for his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical year at Michigan State University.
Dr. Belekdanian's love for veterinary medicine started in sophomore year of high school, when he attended the Advanced Veterinary Medicine (AVM) summer program at Tufts University. From here, he worked as a veterinary assistant in numerous veterinary hospitals, and also volunteered at Plumpton Park Zoo in Rising Sun, MD.
His professional interests lie in internal, shelter and emergency medicine, clinical and anatomical pathology, and general surgery. Dr. Belekdanian is passionate about teaching and explaining to clients how to keep their pets healthy and happy.
In his spare time, Dr. Belekdanian likes to read about U.S. and world history, exercise, hike, explore the outdoors, and spend time with his Yorkshire Terrier, Furley. He also loves to travel to foreign countries and plans on volunteering more of his time to spay and neuter programs.
