In-House Laboratory Services
Our on-site laboratory eliminates the delays associated with external labs, providing results during the same visit. This is especially important in emergency situations, allowing us to begin treatment without delay. We use our in-house lab for both urgent diagnostics and routine wellness screening.
Diagnostic tests routinely performed in our laboratory include:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC): Evaluates red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets to detect infection, inflammation, anemia, and certain cancers
- Blood Chemistry Panel: Assesses organ function, including the liver, kidneys, and pancreas; helps establish baselines and monitor ongoing health
- Electrolyte Testing: Measures key minerals to evaluate hydration status, metabolic function, and overall health
- Thyroid Testing (T4): Assesses thyroid hormone levels, particularly important for senior cats and dogs
- Urinalysis: Recommended annually to screen for kidney disease, urinary tract infections, and metabolic conditions
- Fecal Testing: Checks for intestinal parasites and can help identify digestive disorders or internal bleeding
CT Scanner — 20-Second Full-Mouth Dental Imaging
We are proud to offer one of veterinary medicine’s most significant advances in dental diagnostics: a state-of-the-art CT scanner that delivers a complete 3D image of your pet’s mouth in just 20 seconds. Compared to traditional dental X-rays, our CT scan reduces anesthesia time by 15–20 minutes while providing significantly greater detail—a major clinical and safety advantage for your pet.
Our CT scanner is used for:
- Full-mouth dental imaging in just 20 seconds (compared to 15–20 minutes with traditional X-rays)
- Imaging of nasal passages for evaluation of chronic nasal disease
- Ear canal imaging for persistent or complex ear conditions
- Evaluation for brain tumors
- Imaging of extremities, including paws, elbows, and joints
- Chest and abdominal imaging in smaller pets
