Puppy Wellness Care & Preventive Services
We schedule puppy wellness exams at key developmental stages, typically at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks of age. At your puppy’s first visit, we will:
- Perform a comprehensive head-to-tail physical examination

- Discuss diet, nutrition, and appropriate feeding guidelines
- Review the recommended vaccination schedule (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Lyme, and others as appropriate)
- Discuss heartworm, flea, and tick prevention options
- Provide guidance on socialization, training, and behavioral development
- Recommend microchipping for permanent identification
- Discuss spay/neuter timing, typically recommended between 5–12 months of age
