Dr. Heather Koch

Dr. Heather Koch was born and raised in Bergen County, where she started in the veterinary field at 16 years old. She graduated from Rowan University with her Bachelors in Biological Sciences in 2015. She then obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2021 after completing her clinical year at University of Illinois. Shortly thereafter, she spent her initial years of practice at a fast-paced hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her professional interests include geriatric care, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and preventative care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Koch enjoys weight-lifting, good food, music festivals, and road trips. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends whenever possible. She has a Doberman named Stormy, over 30 indoor houseplants, and will adopt a senior cat when she is able.
