In-House Laboratory
Our on-site laboratory eliminates the wait associated with external labs. Results are available within the same visit, which is critical in emergencies and allows us to begin treatment immediately. We use our in-house laboratory for both emergency diagnostics and routine annual wellness testing.
Diagnostic tests routinely performed in our lab include:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC): Measures red cells, white cells, and platelets to identify infection, inflammation, anemia, and some cancers
- Blood Chemistry Panel: Evaluates organ function including liver, kidneys, and pancreas; establishes health baselines and monitors treatment
- Electrolyte Testing: Assesses hydration, metabolism, and general health
- Thyroid Testing (T4): Evaluates thyroid hormone production — especially important in senior cats and dogs
- Urinalysis: Recommended annually to screen for kidney disease, urinary infections, and metabolic disorders
- Fecal Testing: Screens for intestinal parasites, internal bleeding, and digestive disease
CT Scanner — 20-Second Full-Mouth Dental Scan
We are proud to offer one of veterinary medicine's most significant advances in dental diagnostics: a state-of-the-art CT scanner that delivers a complete 3D image of your pet's mouth in just 20 seconds. Compared to traditional dental X-rays, our CT scan reduces anesthesia time by 15–20 minutes and provides significantly more detail — a major safety and clinical advantage for your pet.
Our CT scanner is used for:
- Full-mouth dental imaging (20 seconds vs. 15–20 minutes for traditional X-rays)
- Nasal passage imaging for chronic nasal diseases
- Ear canal imaging for persistent or complex ear disease
- Brain tumor detection
- Extremity imaging (paws, elbows, joints)
- Chest and abdominal imaging in smaller pets
